Netball is great fun. It gets you active. We play loads of fun matches; our coach Mrs Twiddy is the best coach around. Our other helper is called Mrs Andrassy. Both of them work their socks off to help us improve our skills!!! We have played loads of matches and all of us work hard to win but if we don’t win it doesn’t matter, we play for fun!!! This is a game of speed and concentration. It was run by Ossett school and 4 junior teams took part and these were the scores:
Southdale A Southdale B Scored=4 Scored=0 Southdale A Towngate Scored=4 Scored=0 Southdale A South Parade Scored=4 Scored=0 Southdale B Towngate Scored=0 Scored=3 Southdale B South Parade Scored=1 Scored=0
We really enjoyed high five it got us active and we all worked our socks off. In reverse order of the places:4th place was South Parade, 3rd place was Southdale B, 2nd place was Towngate and last of all was Southdale A in 1st place!!!!!!!

Chloe and Serena
23/3/07 Netherton v Southdale They were hard and tall. We all played very well , well that was what Mrs Twiddy told us. But they played very competitively!!!! The first quarter, the score was 1 - 3 to Netherton. The second quarter was 2 - 4 to Netherton. On the third quarter everyone was very nervous The last quarter was scary, everyone had butterflies in their tummies. Suddenly Southdale scored ANOTHER goal!!!!!!! Then it was 4 all. There were 5 seconds left - Southdale nearly scored but then the whistle blew. So Southdale and Netherton drew - it was a fair result. At least we didn't lose! Chloe and Serena !!Southdale Vs the Mount!! The Southdale netball team took two teams to the Mount school.
Team A, which was a year 6 team and Team B which was a year 5 team .The Mount had one team which were year 5 and 6.
Well, on the first match, Southdale A team nearly drew by 3 - 3 but on the last minute Chloe scored an outstanding goal from more than a metre away.
As the game came to an end all the netballers were proud of each other because they had played as a team. Southdale team B did a brilliant job although there were only 2 year 5's on the Mount's team. But I've got to say it was a fair result. The Mount team won by 9. The score was 9 - 0 to the Mount!!! by Serena and Chloe Southdale Yr 3 netball A group of yr 6 has been selected to teach the yr 3's how to play netball; Holly, Chloe, Izzy, serena, Lisa, Amy and Rebecca. The yr 3's were very competitive and they loved it!!!! But unluckily yr 3 didn't win.
but then Southdale scored ANOTHER goal!!!!!!!!! That's when it started to get really nerve-racking.
But everyone had a good game and played their socks off!!!
