Year 3 visits

  Year 3 study the Romans as part of our History work. We gain a real insight and understanding of the life of a Roman soldier during our visit to Brigantium Roman Fort. Under the care of 'Centurion', we learn to march, drill, guard - and how to attack a vicious sack!  We also learn a lot about what they ate, how they wrote, what crafts they used and why they came to Britain. We even get paid, with a 'real' Roman coin for our hard day's work as Roman Legionaries!
